Mary ( Sweetie ) A. Gibson, 89, of Dothan peacefully went to her eternal home on Friday, June 1, 2012.

She was retired from Flowers Hospital as a nurse.

Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred ( Burl ) Gibson; her son, Alfred Gibson, Jr.; brother, Billie Thompson and sister, Matanera Bellah

She leaves behind her dedicated niece and caregiver of several years, Judy Grooms, loving sister in law, Emma Sue Thompson; Two step daughters, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P. M.  Today , Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Memory Hill    Cemetery, with Reverend Rob Oates officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to ( Burial Fund for Mary) at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
