Mary T. Sullivan of Dothan passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at a local hospital. She was 78 years old.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. 

Mary was born in Cottonwood, AL on November 23, 1944, to the late Calvin Howard Thompson and Vasteen Taylor Thompson. She was an All-State volleyball player and 1962 graduate of Ashford High School. Mary was formally employed with McLane Company for over 32 years as a long-haul truck driver. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, fishing, cooking family meals, traveling, and showing off her green thumb. Mary was the rock of her family and will be greatly missed. They will miss her more than words can say and will never forget her.

In addition to her parents, Howard and Vasteen Thompson, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Smith, Sally Tate, and Doris Lee.

She leaves her legacy to be cherished by her sons, Terry Money of Dothan, AL, Ricky Money (Kellie) of Pearl River, LA, Tony Money (Brandi) of Cottonwood, AL; grandchildren, Brandon Money (Michelle) of Greenville, SC, Brittany Money Talliaferro of Dothan, AL, Laci Money McNeal (Anthony) of Dothan, AL, Megan Money (David) of Fairhope, AL, and Crystal Money of Dothan, AL; great-grandchildren, Ashley Morgan Talliaferro of Rehobeth, AL, Grayson Brandon Talliaferro of Rehobeth, AL, Peyton Jade Money of Greenville, SC, Hunter Stone McNeal of Dothan, AL, Emma Grace McNeal of Dothan, AL, and Dylan Graham of Ashford, AL; sister, Inez Cochran (James) of Headland, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be, Terry Money, Ricky Money, Tony Money, Brandon Money, Robert Talliaferro, and David Lewis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Hunter Stone McNeal and Grayson Brandon Talliaferro.
