Masue was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, son Michael Aris, from a previous marriage U.S. Army MSgt Geoffrey L. Aris.
Masue was born in Yahata City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Fukuoka, Japan on February 4, 1927 to Tatejiro and Tama Fujino. At a young age her parents passed away and she was raised by her two older brothers. After the Korean War, she met a young Army soldier Geoffrey Aris and they married in Japan. In 1955, she gave birth to a daughter Susan in Fukuoka, Japan. A year later, she and daughter Susan departed Yokohama, Japan to Seattle, WA by military ship to meet up with her then husband Geoffrey. After several military moves, she resided at Fort Campbell, KY and gave birth in 1957 to a son George. She moved to Fort Bragg, NC and in 1958 gave birth to a son Michael and in 1960 to a son Brian. In 1962, the family moved to Daleville, AL. assigned to Fort Rucker, AL. where she worked as a seamstress at a small alteration shop outside Fort Rucker/Daleville gate. She was praised by the Army soldiers for her exceptional sewing. In 1967, the family transferred to Hunter AAF, Savannah, GA but returned in 1969 to Fort Rucker, AL (Daleville). After her marriage ended, she went back into the work force and was employed by ConAgra Poultry in Enterprise, she retired from there at 62. She enjoyed her Japanese church group ladies, her love of gardening, crocheting, sewing and WWE wrestling. She lived a long life, a loving and thoughtful person that we will miss dearly.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Susan Aris of Moreno Valley, California; sons, George and Brian Aris both of Daleville, Alabama.
