Mattie Ruth Crews a resident of Abbeville passed away Tuesday December 22, 2015 at a local hospital. She was 69.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am Saturday December 26, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Boyd Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Ruth was born October 13, 1946 in Henry County to the late E. W. Crews and Grace Jordan. She attended the Henry County School Systems too. She loved to dance and loved her family.

Surviving members of her family include her sisters, Snowann Fluellen of Kinsey, Alabama and Martha Tullis of Headland, Alabama; her brother, Arrie Crews (Linda) of Haines City, Florida; a special friend, Martha Rose of Abbeville, Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
