Mattie “Sue” Mills, 93, of Theodore formerly of Dothan, died March 17, 2015 at Lynwood Nursing Home in Mobile following an extended illness.


 


Born October 21, 1921 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to the late Walter and Ethel Miller Fulton, Mrs. Mills had six brothers and four sisters. She was a secretary at Kessler AFB in Biloxi, MS, a pastor’s wife, and a teacher’s aide until she became a full time homemaker in 1978. Before moving to Theodore, Mrs. Mills resided in Dothan for 24 years. While living in Dothan she was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Mrs. Mills enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and watching the University of Alabama games.


 


Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-laws, Susann and William Livingston, McDonough, GA and Sherry and Don Livingston, Theodore, AL; five grandchildren, Matthew, and his wife Shawna Livingston; Sallie Livingston; Wendy, and her husband Jamison Troglen; Cathie, and her husband Ryan Kelly; and Tim Livingston; seven great-grandchildren, Naomi Livingston, Carter Kelly, Owen Livingston, Hoyt Troglen, Aiden Kelly, and a set of twins, Liberty and Alexis Troglen; and several nieces and nephews.


 


Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 20, 2015 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Mark Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Friday, March 20, 2015 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
