Maureen Sharon Beadles, 61, of Enterprise, Alabama was born March 17, 1960 in Denver, Colorado and died in Enterprise on January 25, 2022 after a short bout of COVID 19.


Maureen was a 1978 graduate of Enterprise High School. She was in ROTC and involved in live stage performances as a makeup artist. She achieved her registered nursing degree from Southern Union State Community College. During her career she excelled in neurointensive care nursing. At one point she had created a peer education presentation which was titled “It’s not rocket science, but it is brain surgery”. Her wit, photographic memory, massive heart, generosity, love of books, and craftiness will be long remembered. In her later years, she developed friendships through the Xena The Warrior Puppy family network. She supported animal rescue and was the author of the foreword in the book Lost Souls:Found!


Maureen is preceded in death by her father, Lt. Col Robert J. Beadles. She is survived by her mother, Norma Beadles; siblings Robert (Rhonda), Glenn (Cindy), and Jackie; nieces Morgan Pendergrass (Sam) and Berry Beadles; nephews Ryan Beadles (Sara) and Bradley Tappan (Brandi). Great niece Alyssa Tappan and great nephews Raiford and Julian Beadles.


No services will take place at this time as inurnment will follow at a much later date.
