DOTHAN. . .Maxcine Cameron Snead, a resident of Dothan, died Monday afternoon, January 21, 2019. She was 70.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 P.M. (C.S.T.), Thursday, January 24, 2019, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 4:30 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary in Headland. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon (E.S.T.) Friday in Parkhill Cemetery, Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia.
Ms. Snead was born and reared in Phenix City, Alabama and moved to Dothan in 1979. She was preceded in death by her father, William Mack Cameron and mother, Nell Elizabeth Cameron Bright and a sister, Patsy Sanders.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Audra Snead, Dothan; Karen Snead Scott, Destin, FL; and Sharon Snead Bourgeois (Bradley), Madisonville, LA; two sisters, Kay Marlean Collins (Ralph), Phenix City, AL; and Shirley Bunn, Tucson, AZ; a brother, Wayne Cameron; four grandchildren, Sara Kate Snead, Justin Scott, Allie Bourgeois and Jake Bourgeois.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Justin Scott, Bradley Bourgeois, Eddie Collins and Scott Collins.
