Melinda Ann Alberson passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at the age of 64. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Worthy and Annette Helms; husband, Troy Alberson; and son, Duston Cooper.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Donnie Earles and Rev. Larry Mock officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Chapel Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include her step-mother, Barbara Worthy; children, Chad Worthy (Brandi) of Geneva, and Dylan Alberson (Carissa) of Slocomb; grandchildren, Cole Worthy of Huntsville, Tatum Worthy of Bonifay, Kelsey Cooper of Hartford, and Abbie Klayten Alberson of Slocomb; great grandchildren, Mia Worthy and Kalliope Summerlin; brother, Gerron Worthy; and niece, Mindy Worthy.
