Michael Anthony Holifield, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at a local hospital. He was 47.

A memorial service will be held 10 am Monday, December 17, 2018 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

Michael was born on August 18, 1971 in Compton, California and lived the early years there. He moved to Dothan in 2006. Michael really enjoyed pimping his car out. He liked shopping for clothes and shoes and was always very fashionable. Michael had a great sense of humor and was known as a real jokester.

Survivors include his daughter, Mikeia (Zahirah) Holifield; his son, Michael Anthony Holifield; his girlfriend, Marie Carroll; his step-children, Jyazmin Carroll, Aisha Carroll and Jamia Carroll; his grandchildren, Braylen Holifield, Cameron Moore, Tre’Shawn Harris, Ma’Lasia Holifield and Kaiden Freeman; his brother, Benjamin Holifield; his sister, Lynella Hart; his good friend, Terica Bailey; three nieces; a nephew; and a great-nephew.
