Mr. Michael Wayne Davidson of Geneva, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. He was 56 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 from the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Dr. John Granger and Sheriff Tony Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Michael was born on July 12, 1963 in Geneva, AL to Charles Willard and Christine Henderson Davidson. He worked at Reliable Sheet Metal as a cutter in manufacturing for a number of years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hanging out with his beloved dog, “Eddie”. Michael was a past reserve officer with the Geneva County Sheriff’s Department, which he proudly served the citizens. He was a member of Devco Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica L. Granger (Clint) of Gordon, AL; three grandchildren, Remington, Gunner and Ada James Granger all of Gordon, AL; parents, Willard and Christine Davidson of Geneva, one brother, Ruedon Davidson (Mary) of Level Plains, AL; one sister, Shelia Davidson of Geneva; three nephews, Charlie Davidson (Amanda) of Warner Robins, GA, Ryan Tidwell (Hannah) of Geneva, and Reid Tidwell of Geneva; one great niece and three great nephews.
