A celebration of Mike's life will be held at 10 am on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. This will be a time for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
Michael Kelly Milner, affectionately known as Mike, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2023, in Dothan, Alabama. Born on July 30, 1952, in Virginia, Mike lived a life that was friendly, interesting, and adventurous.
Mike was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his brothers, William (Linda) Milner, Jonathan Milner, and Timothy (Carol) Milner, his sister, Patty Chevz, and several nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil James and Ruth Elizabeth LaPointe Milner.
Mike was a man who lived life to the fullest. His friendly demeanor made him a joy to be around, and his interesting stories and adventurous spirit brought laughter and joy to many. He was a man who loved deeply, lived passionately, and left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Mike's interests were as varied and unique as he was. Whether he was embarking on a new adventure, sharing an interesting story, or simply spending time with his loved ones, Mike was always fully engaged in the moment. His zest for life was infectious, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.
In his passing, Mike leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and adventure. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. While we mourn his unexpected passing, we also celebrate the life he lived and the joy he brought to us all.
