Michael Hobson Williamson a resident of Slocomb passed away Monday February 5, 2018 at the University of Alabama. He was 67 years old.

Services will be held 11 am Friday February 9, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Hood officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Michael was born on September 21, 1950 in Dothan, Alabama and served in the Army National Guard for 16 years until he medically retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and playing golf. Michael was an Alabama fan.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Vivian Williamson; a son, Chad Williamson; his three sisters, Kathy Revill, Connie Caldwell and Karen Scott; additional family members and friends.
