DOTHAN. . .Michelle Bowman Childree, a resident of Dothan, passed away late Wednesday afternoon, August 7, 2024, at her home. She was 51.

            Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, August 9, 2024, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend George Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Friday at the mortuary in Headland.

            Michelle Childree was born in Dalton, Georgia and was raised in Dothan. She was employed by several restaurants in Dothan as a Hostess and Waitress. Michelle enjoyed gardening, cooking and loved her animals. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Bowman.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Brian Foy Childree, two daughters, Caitlenn Teal and Daecia Teal both of Dothan; a son, Michael Teal, Headland; her mother, Diane Smith, Dothan; a sister, Teresa Bradshaw (Chris), Ashford; grandchildren, Maddox Teal, Tatum Fedrick and Peyton Mesey; nieces, Amber Lewis (Zack), and Kendall Dickerson, a nephew, Phillip Dickerson (Regan).
