Michelle Marie Lampkin departed this life on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at her home in Webb, AL.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1 pm Wednesday September 20, 2017 at New Freedom Church in Webb with Pastor Harold Reynolds officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 prior at the church.

Michelle was born into this world on April 28, 1957. She is preceded in death by her beloved father Frederick Horton Winney, and by her beloved son, an adoption of the heart, Michael Leandri.

The powerful legacy that Michelle leaves behind is the impact she has had on many lives. Affectionately referred to as "Mother Who Who", Michelle has embraced, nurtured, and helped raise many children, as well as nurturing several adults through her work as a health care worker and advocate, as she helped them get their lives back on track. Michelle was like a mama bear who interacted with her loved ones with total attentiveness, and a determination to take care of the family and friends that were a part of her life.

Michelle is survived by her beloved mother Gloria Ann Gary, her sisters Nicole Cheri Rafferty and Ann Marie Lenhard, her brother Kevin Frederick Winney, nieces Heather Lenhard, Malia Rafferty Asia Winney, nephew Terell Winney, and an adopted sister of the heart, Tina Barber of Daleville, AL. Michelle is also survived by her many children who are adoptions of the heart, Joseph Leandri and his children, David Leandri, Raquel Leandri, PFC Jaquan Johnson, and Taneisha Oliver, and long-time friend Katina Davis. Michelle is survived by her best friends Cindy Cook Pasquale, Jennifer Sims, and Krista Messer.

A very bright and beautiful light has gone out for now, but as it is written in John 6:39-40, the Lord will raise up His children at the last day.
