Mickey T. Bost, Sr., a resident of Ozark, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was 66.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the ceremony.
Mr. Bost was born on August 10, 1952 in Concord, North Carolina where he spent the earlier years of his life. He joined the US Army and served in the Vietnam era and Desert Storm. He retired in 1992 with 20 years of military service. In 1999, he was employed with DynCorp and then AFS until he retired in 2017. Mr. Bost loved to watch Nascar, he especially enjoyed attending races in Talladega. Mr. Bost loved his dogs Daisy Mae, Buddy, Molly, and Layla. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle to the beach, participating in poker runs, traveling, and fising at lake Eufaula on weekends. Mr. Bost was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and enjoyed driving his Corvette and his Bumble Bee Truck. Mr. Bost loved his family and especially loved spending time with his kids.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Bost; his son, Mickey T. (Paulina Pawlik) Bost, Jr.; his 2 daughters, Julie (Dave) Hartzog and Allison Bost; his grandson, David Ragsdale; his parents, Johnny Melvin Harris; his brother, Benny Harris; his sisters, Marie Hill and Frankie Biles; and several nieces and nephews.
