Mr. Mickey Wayne Watford of Bonifay, FL passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his home. He was 70 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with his son-in-law, Chris Peppers giving the Eulogy, and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 12:00 p.m. and will continue until service time at 1:00 p.m.
The family request that flowers be omitted and that memorial contributions be made to Covenant Hospice or to his family for final expenses.
Mickey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed hunting fishing, woodworking and, wrestling. He was born in Chipley, FL to the late Willie Dale and Dorothy Louise Taylor Watford. Mr. Watford proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Fred Edwards.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Dale Lewis Watford of Bonifay, FL; his children, Miranda Sue Peppers (Chris) of Conyers, GA, Raymond Wade King of Bonifay, FL, Bobby Dale King (Peggy) Lake Wales, FL; grandchildren, Lea Peppers, Lexis Peppers, Krista King, Brittany King, Destany King, Mattie King; great- grandchildren, Vera Cullifer, Layla Cullifer, Jax Winsby; brothers and sisters, Sue Mills (Tommy) of Winter Haven, FL, Randoph Watford (Linda) of Auburndale, FL, Doyle Watford of Winter Haven, FL, Debra Edwards of Winter Haven, FL, and Willow Rean Davis (Donald Mack) of Auburndale, FL; and a number of nieces and nephews.
