CLIO…. Mrs. Mildred Ann Manire, a resident of Clio, died Monday, October 8, 2018 at her home. She was 72.
Funeral services will be held at Saturday, 11:00 A.M., October 13, 2018 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel with Pastor Buddy Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Word Fellowship Cemetery, Hwy. 10 Blue Springs. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Vivian B. Adams School, 2047 Stuart Tarter Road, Ozark, AL 36360.
Mrs. Manire, daughter of the late Ralph Shelley and Mildred Wilkerson Shelley, was a native of Columbus, Georgia having lived in Abbeville for many years before moving to Clio in 1990. She was an aide at Dixie Academy School in Louisville and sold Tupperware for many years. Mrs. Manire was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle “Missy” Manire, Troy and Sandra Shehane Bryant (Jared), Newville; son, Kevin Manire (Jennifer), Hartford; four grandchildren, Amber Manire, Hannah Mages, Preston Mages, and Madison Bryant; two brothers, Ralph Shelley (Barbara), Phenix City and Jimmy Shelley, Opelika; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
