Mildred Phillips Miller, a former resident of Cottonwood, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in Tampa, Florida.
Private graveside services for the family will be held Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Howard Grove Church Cemetery with Dr. Ricky Plummer officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Miller was born December 24, 1935 in Cottonwood to Foy and Linda Danford Phillips. She was a graduate of Cottonwood High School. During her working career she was an office administrator for several medical practices. She also worked at First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, Georgia. She lived many years in Bainbridge before moving to Tampa. Mrs. Miller was a member of First Baptist Church of Bainbridge, Georgia.
Mrs. Miller is predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Miller; a son, Raymond Miller and his wife Joyce; two daughters, Sandy Ayers and her husband Marc and Janet Holk and her husband, Herb; grandchildren, Felipe and Jessica Fulgencio, Taylor & Jaime Patterson, Travis and Catherine Tucker, Zachary Ayers, Jonathan Ayers, Marcus Ayers, John & Hannah Colby, Scott Holk, Rebekah Holk, John Holk, William Holk, Josh and Brandy Hilton; great-grandchildren, Cade Hilton, Mason Fulgencio, Hadley Fulgencio, Samuel Colby and Andrew Colby.
