Headland…Milton Edward Partin, a resident of Headland, died Sunday night May 1, 2022, at his residence.  He was 68.


Memorial services, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 5, 2022 in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend George Bryan officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.


In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions in his memory be made to Landmark Park, 430 Landmark Dr., Dothan, AL 36303.


Mr. Partin was born in Mobile and reared in Prichard, son of the late Milton A. Partin and Jessie Mae Edwards Partin.  He served in the U.S. Marines Corps during the Vietnam era.  An electronics technician in industrial maintenance, he formerly worked at Sony, Ft. Rucker, Aladan and most recently at Michelin.   Mr. Partin was an avid amateur astronomer and participated in the Landmark Park Astronomy Nights.  He was a lifelong Atlanta Braves Fan and loved the game of golf.  Mr. Partin was a member of the Headland United Methodist Church.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Ina Jones.


Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Jordan Partin, two daughters, Ashley Partin and Molly Partin all of Headland, a son, Aziraphale Jordan of Portland, OR., a sister, Jessie Williams of Mississippi, a brother, Richard Partin (Judy) of Lubbock, TX., and a brother-in-law, Billy Jones of Jackson, AL.
