OZARK…Elizabeth A. Sharp, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, July 1, 2024, in a Dothan hospital. She was 79.


            In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Miss Sharp, daughter of the late Kenneth Thomas Sharp and Elizabeth A. Channel Sharp, was a native of Atco, New Jersey and attended school in Atco, She was a veteran of the United States Navy and some of her favorite things included baking, her animals, and her family. She formerly was employed with Road Construction for the State of Ohio. She owned and operated American Transport, Inc., a truck dispatch company in Ozark.


            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Deborah Kiel (Greg), Brundidge, Alabama; two brothers, Thomas Kenneth Sharp (Rosa), Wilton Manors, Florida and George John Sharp (Terry), Port Charlotte, Florida; two grandchildren, Christopher P. Quinn and Kyle T. Quinn; eight great grandchildren
