Obituary: Miss Theresa Mae Dean
Miss Theresa Mae “Stella” Dean of Slocomb, formally of Ft. Myers FL passed away Tuesday, April 30 at her residence. She was 56.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Harvest Ministries in Ft. Myers FL with Pastor Tony Holley officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Gardens Cemetery in Ft. Myers with Boyd Funeral Home directing. The family will be receiving friends in Ft. Myers at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb is in charge of local arrangements.
Miss Dean was born October 7, 1956 in Rome, GA. to Eloise Nichols Williams and Author Dean.
Survivors include her parents, Eloise (Alfonso) Williams, Fort Myers, FL; two daughters: Roslind Sheppard and Phyllis (Leroy) Brockington, both of Slocomb; one son; Eddie Joe Furgerson, Ft. Myers, FL; six sisters: Patsey Ann Penn, Ft. Myers, FL, Sandra Adams, Jacksonville, FL, Dorethenia Dean, Syracuse, NY, Brenda Dean, Syracuse, NY, Cynthia Williams Ft. Myers, FL and Afreda Williams, Ft. Myers, FL; one brother, Author (Classymae) Dean, Ft. Myers, FL; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two best friends: Martha Powell and Sarah McNeal both of Ft. Myers, FL; and a host of family and friends.
