PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLORIDA…Mitzi Trawick, a resident of Panama City Beach, Florida (formerly of Skipperville), died late Monday morning, November 11, 2024, in UAB Hospital. She was 60.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 15, 2024, in Clopton Methodist Church with Pastor Andy Kogutz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.  Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Ms. Trawick, daughter of the late Lewie Frank Trawick, Sr. and Hazel Stuckey Trawick, was a native of Skipperville. She was a 1982 Graduate of G.W. Long High School and received her nursing degree from Wallace Community College and the University of South Alabama Mobile. Ms. Trawick was employed by Southeast Health in Dothan as a registered nurse for over thirty years. She was a member of the Clopton Methodist Church. Ms. Trawick was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Trawick.

            Surviving relatives include her sister, Jane Trawick Long (Robert), Headland; brother, Lewie Frank Trawick, Jr. (Connie), San Diego, California; nieces and nephews, Dr. Brian Sellers (Robin), Kelli Golden, Jessica Heiken (Joel), and Shannon Trawick; great nieces and nephews, Paige McDaniel, Caitlin McDaniel, Avery Golden, Andrew Sellers, and Callie Sellers.
