Monica Raye Joiner, of Taylor, passed away Monday October 16, 2017 at a nursing home in Graceville, FL. She was 72.

Funeral services will be held 3 pm Friday, October 20, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 2-3 pm. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Ms. Joiner was born January 2, 1945 in Columbus, GA where she resided her earlier years of her life. She then moved to Abbeville, AL and lived there for over 25 years, where she worked with the Henry County School System as a bus driver. Ms. Joiner enjoyed arts and crafts and loved to make Christmas decorations. She was always up for a trip, enjoyed traveling and seeing different parts of the country.

Ms. Joiner is survived by her son, Terry (Janice) White; her daughter, Tracy (Manuel) Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Dustin White, Kristina (Juan) Guerrero, Jessica (Lexx) Skinner-Orta, Hayleigh (Derrick) Washington, Cory Brannon, McKenzie Fessenden; her 5 great-grandchildren; her sister, Brenda (Jimmy) Monday.
