Mose Thomas Saliba, 57, of Tarrytown, GA died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at his residence. Mose lived in Dothan, AL until his retirement from the Dothan Fire Department on June 1, 2006 after 27 years of service. He loved the fire service and immediately became a member of the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department after his move to this area. Mose served 15 years in the Alabama Air National Guard attaining the rank of Tech Sergeant E-6 in the 115th Air Control Squadron located in Dothan, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Mose Saliba and Ella Mae West Saliba. Survivors include his wife, Melanie Braddy Saliba; a step-son, Jason Blaine Baker and a grandson, William Edward Baker (Webb) and the entire extended Braddy family which he considered his own. He is also survived by a brother, Oscar Saliba; two nieces, Sara Robinson Saliba and Sawyer Saliba; one nephew, Simon Saliba. Mose is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014. A public memorial service will be held at the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Station on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department or your favorite charity. Higgs Funeral Home of Soperton has charge of arrangements.
