Mr. Anthony Ryan Jordan, 27, a resident of Ozark, departed this world Monday, May 16, 2022.
Funeral services for Mr. Jordan will be graveside 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 21, 2022, in Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Lee Windham officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
Ryan was born November 22, 1994 in Enterprise, Alabama. He grew up in Skipperville, Alabama and was a 2013 graduate of G.W. Long High School. He was an avid Gators football fan and spent many years on the field as #74 playing football for his home team, the Rebels. Ryan’s pride and joy was his daughter, Ella Grace. He adored her and his face lit up anytime someone asked about her. Some of his favorite pastimes included hunting and fishing, playing video games with his big brother, and eating anything with pickles or covered in hot sauce. Ryan had found his niche as a welder recently and really enjoyed his job. He loved his family fiercely and most importantly he loved the Lord. Ryan was a loving father, brother, and son and will be greatly missed by those who loved and knew him.
He is predeceased by his father, SFC Mathis “Mike” T. Jordan (United States Army); his brother, SGT Leon T. Jordan (United States Army); uncles, Tommy Sallee, Randy Sallee, and Anthony “Tony” Jordan; and cousin, Jeremy Jordan.
Survivors include his daughter, Ella Grace; his mother and step-father, Lynn and Frank Sullivan of Ozark; his maternal grandmother, Carla Faye Sallee of Niceville, Florida; his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew, Johnny, Jennifer and Fletcher Jordan of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
