Mr. Armon Percy Wood of Malvern passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  He was 62.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24, in Friendship Assembly of God Church with Rev. Clarence Watson and Rev. Hosea Parker officiating.  Burial will follow in Friendship Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 

Mr. Wood was born on July 5, 1950 in Geneva County, AL to the late Noah and Rubye Dixon Wood. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eual Wood.

Survivors include his wife:  Debra Wood of Malvern; two daughters:  Krissy Wood of Mobile, Kimberly (Matt) Cummings of Dothan; one grandchild:  Ella Kathryn Cummings of Dothan; four brothers:  Fate (Annette) Wood of Dothan, Bual (Louise) Wood of Abbeville, Franklin (Betty) Wood of Malvern, David (Susan) Wood of Rehobeth; sister-in-law:  Lois Wood of Dothan; numerous nieces and nephews.

Members of The Hunting Club will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
