Mr. Arthur Joseph White, age 69, of Cowarts, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
Born April 5, 1947 in Houston County, Arthur enjoyed music and played drums in a band in his youth. He also enjoyed watching old movies and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Lesuer White; his step-daughters, Joanna Lee (Jacob) and Beth Martin (John Hansen); his son, Shawn White and his step-son, Michael Martin; his grandchildren, Trevor Martin, Matthew Martin, Aven Lee, and Brantley White; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Gantt officiating.
