   Mr. Aubrey Noel Gilmer, a resident of Ozark, died Thursday, June 13, 2024 in Flowers Hospital. He was 67 years old.

   In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Gilmer there is no public service planned. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at www.HolmanFuneralHome.com.

   Noel was born September 21, 1956 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Orbie Lee Gilmer and Helen Newton Gilmer. He attended Carroll High School and worked with Central Auto Parts in Ozark. He later worked with his father and brother in the family business, Gilmer Brothers Painting, until his retirement. Noel loved to go fishing, watch NASCAR and was an avid Alabama Football fan. He adored his grandchildren and his grand-puppy, Kye.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Yvette Collins Gilmer, and one brother, Jerry Lee Gilmer.

   Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Michael Beasley of Ozark; two grandchildren, Aubrie Beasley and Austin Beasley; and his good friend, Tony Parisi.
