OZARK…Mr. Bernard E. Huffstutler, a resident of Ozark, died Friday, January 7, 2022, at his home. He was 92.
Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Huffstutler, son of the late Henry Huffstutler and Birtile Huffstuler, was a native of Black Duck, Minnesota. He joined the United States Navy for eight years and served in the Korean War. Mr. Huffstutler later joined the United States Army, served two tours in Vietnam and retired after twenty years of service. He was formerly employed with the Ozark Police Department as an officer and was retired from PEMCO at Napier Field as a machinist. Mr. Huffstutler was a graduate of Wallace College and the Ozark Aviation College. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Doris Edmondson Huffstutler; a daughter, Doreen Mae Huffstutler; a grandson, Cory Huffstutler.
Surviving relatives include his daughter, Kathleen Smith, Circleview, OH; two sons, Robert Huffstutler (Karen), Bellevue, OH and Michael Huffstutler, Ozark; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
