Mr. Billy Joe Kelley of Taylor Community passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  He was 81.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 6, in Taylor Assembly of God Church with Rev. Charles Littlefield, Rev. Eddie Littlefield and Rev. Kenneth Martin officiating.  Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery near Esto with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

The family will receive friends at Taylor Assembly of God Church on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 

Mr. Kelley was born on September 1, 1930 in Graceville, FL to the late Egustus and Birdie Gavins Kelley.  He attended Taylor Assembly of God Church.  He proudly served his country in Korea with the U.S. Army.  Mr. Kelley retired after 38 years as a territorial representative with American Chicle Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Kelley; three brothers:  Jack, Alfred and Frank Kelley; sister-in-law:  Annie Jean Kelley.

Survivors include his daughter:  Patricia Littlefield (Rev. Charles) of Ozark; grandson:  William Paul Littlefield (Amanda) of Rehobeth; granddaughter:  Kellie Littlefield of Tallahassee, FL; one brother:  Charles Kelly (Frankie) of Fountain Inn, SC; sisters-in-law:  Patsy Kelley and Willa Dean Kelley of Tallahassee; great grandchildren:  Cierra Jade, Shellie Paige and Sarah Elizabeth Littlefield of Rehobeth; several nieces and nephews.
