Obituary: Mr. Billy Ray Sullivan

 

Mr. Billy Ray Sullivan of Wicksburg passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at his home. He was 83. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Goodwater Free Will Baptist Church with his grandsons: Jason Sullivan, Jeremy Sullivan and Kyle Sullivan and Jerry Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

 The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time. 

Mr. Sullivan was born July 15, 1939 in Dale County to the late Huey Blonnie and Vallie Miller Sullivan. 

In addition to his parents, his wife, Shirley Sullivan; sister, Mary Turner and brother-in-law, Charles Sellers, all preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his children: Billy Wayne and Rita Sullivan, Daphne and Terry Sellers, Leamon and Ann Sullivan, and Ernie and Kimberly Sullivan; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; niece, Debra Sellers; nephews: JR Sellers (Laurie) and Damien Turner (Kandyce); sister-in-law, Helen Sellers; brother-in-law, Wayland Turner.
