Mr. Billy Robert Miller, 63, of Warner Robbins, Georgia, passed away Friday evening at Houston Medical Center. He was surrounded by family and was at peace when he left this world.

 

Billy joined the Navy at a young age and later followed in his father’s footsteps to become a long-haul truck driver. Trucking was his passion and Peterbuilt was his favorite. Billy was a family man and loved playing with his grandchildren. He had an outgoing and mischievous personality and loved blues music.

 

He was preceded in death by Leonard Junior Miller (father), Betty Jean (sister), Bobby Ray (brother), and Pauline Audrey (daughter).

 

Survivors include his mother, Theresa Miller of Cochran; children, Kandy (Dean) Blain, James Miller, Nikki Miller, and Allen Smith of Warner Robbins; the loving mother of his children, Rhonda Smith of Warner Robbins; brothers, Mike Miller of Victoria, CA, Ricky and Tommy Miller of Helen; sisters, Debbie Grubbs of Cochran; Lisa Thomas of Dublin; Amy Miller of Athens; grandchildren, Lexi, Tyler, and Audrey Simmons, and Noah Blain of Warner Robbbins; and many more loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held At 3 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Judy Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, one hour prior to the service.

 

The family is accepting donations to assist in funeral and burial costs or you may send flowers to Ward Wilson Funeral  Home.
