Blaine Price, a resident of Dothan, AL, passed away peacefully Friday, May 7, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his immediate family. Blaine was 58 years young.
A private service was held at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery in Elamville, Alabama. Interment followed, directed by Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark. On May 13, 2021, a celebration of Blaine’s life was held with family and friends.
Blaine was born in 1963 at the Naval Air Station in Kittery, Maine to his loving parents, Col. Billy and Mrs. Yvonne Price of Clio. Blaine attended Troy University before honorably serving in the United States Marine Corps. In 1989, Blaine married his teenage sweetheart, Madelyn, at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. Blaine and his wife, Madelyn, moved to Marianna, Florida and completed their family with the arrival of their son, Brennan, in 1998 and their daughter, Brianna, in 1999, before moving to Dothan, Alabama. Blaine retired from the Federal Correctional Institution of Marianna. Blaine was a devoted husband of thirty-one years, and an adoring father. Barbour County, Alabama holds a significant place in Blaine’s heart. Blaine is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his Uncle Edward Shehane, and his cousins Jon and Quenette Shehane. Blaine is survived by his wife Madelyn, son Brennan and daughter Brianna; parents, sister, Mrs. Renee Reeves (Jim) of Montgomery; cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
