Mr. Bobby Gene Seay of Geneva passed away Friday, June 14, 2013. He was 72. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. John Withrock, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to, Covenant Hospice, 5041 North 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504.
Mr. Seay was born in Geneva, AL on December, 11, 1940 to the late Ewell and Audrey Noblin Seay. He graduated from Geneva High, Class of 1961. He was a big fan of Elvis Presley, Bear Bryant and the University of Alabama Football. Mr. Seay served his country in the Alabama National Guard and the United States Army. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Rex and Dempsey Seay.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Laura Seay of Geneva; two daughters, Gina Seay of Geneva and Lori Gibson (Tom) of Wetumpka; son, Bobby A. Seay (Tanya) of Geneva; five grandchildren, Colt Pate of Pensacola, FL, T.J. and Garrett Gibson, both of Wetumpka, Preston and Hunter Strickland, both of Geneva; two brothers, Don Seay (Joann) and Tom Seay (Denice), both of Enterprise; three sisters, Janice Seay, Mary Forehand and Dorothy Spann, all of Geneva; special sister-in-law, Elizabeth Morris; nephew, Rusty Morris (Lessie); special great niece and nephew, Alana Morris and River Morris, all of Geneva; and numerous other nieces and nephews; and special friend, Wilmer Bracewell of Geneva.
