Bobby Joe Jones, a beacon of kindness and selflessness, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024, at the age of 58 in Dothan, Alabama. Born on October 16, 1965, in Houston County, Alabama, Bobby's life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and an unwavering positive spirit.


Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Gann officiating.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, one hour prior to the service.


Bobby was preceded in death by his father J.P. Jones, and sisters Peggy Davis and Penny Fulford.

Bobby was the beloved husband of Becky Jones, who together shared an unbreakable bond and a life full of joy and mutual support. He was a cherished son to his mother, Joeann Chason, and a guiding light to his children, Kevin Jones (Tania), Jeremy Jones, Kristy Jones, and his stepchildren, Ben Bryan, Alison Bryan, and Lexi Bryan and his brothers, Rex Jones, Roger Jones, and Johnny Jones,

Bobby's legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Kaleb Jones, Emily Jones, Jedediah Jones, Enoch Jones, Jael Jones, Bella Anglin, Leaona Anglin, and Madisyn Sellers
A man who never met a stranger, Bobby had the exceptional ability to see the good in everyone he encountered. He lived his life as a loving husband, a devoted father, and a doting grandfather, placing his family at the heart of everything he did.

Bobby's passions extended beyond his family. He had a deep love for collecting lighthouses, a hobby that reflected his nature as a guiding light for many. He found solace in the tranquility of fishing and the freedom of boating. Those who knew Bobby were touched by his loving and kind nature. He was the epitome of selflessness, always putting the needs of others before his own.
As we bid farewell to Bobby Joe Jones, we celebrate a life lived with unwavering positivity and an open heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire and guide us.
