Bobby Tucker, a resident of Madrid died Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Southeast Health. He was 83.

Memorial services for Mr. Tucker will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with the family officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Madrid Senior Center 760 Decatur Road Cottonwood, Alabama 36320 or Madrid Volunteer Fire Department 829 Decatur Road Cottonwood, Alabama 36320.

Mr. Tucker was born February 5, 1941 in Hazzard, Kentucky to the late Milton C. and Minnie Tucker. He was raised in Indiana and later moved to Florida and moved to Madrid about 12 years ago. He was a steel worker by trade and loved to fish, work on cars and play poker and horseshoes.

Mr. Tucker is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary tucker; son, Michael Tucker; two sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Berry; son, Bobby J. Tucker (Tamara), daughter, Connie Sue Olson (Jon); step sons, Ron Berry, Randy Berry (Deanne) and James Howell; brother, Jerry Tucker (Leslie); 14 grandchildren,  27 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild
