Obituary: Mr. Bradley Glover
Mr. Bradley Glover of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Nolan Extendicare in Dothan, Alabama. He was 77.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Bay Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Cox officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Bradley’s memory with a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011, or Bay Springs Baptist Church, 1721 South Bay Springs Road, Dothan, AL.
Mr. Glover was born November 14, 1947 in Geneva County to the late Carlton Glover and Louise Bradley Glover. Bradley enjoyed music, video & audio recording, and was always ready to help family and friends with their music projects. From a young age he had a passion for tinkering with telephone and radio equipment. He was employed with the General Telephone and Electronics Corporation (GTE) in Dothan for 31 years until his retirement. Bradley was a man of faith and member of Bay Springs Baptist Church where he operated the sound system for many years. He was a kind & generous person, loving father, beloved brother, and a good friend.
In addition to his parents, two brothers, Jimmy and Kenneth Glover; sister-in-law, Shirley Glover; and brother-in-law, Eric “Shorty” Tomlin all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Bradley Keith Glover; mother of his son and caregiver, Jackie Glover; three sisters: Carlease Moss (Loyd), Frankie Thomley (Larry), and Patricia Tomlin; one brother, Robert Glover (Glenda); one sister-in-law, Sandra Glover, and many other extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Gentiva Hospice of Dothan, Nolan Extendicare of Dothan, and the Alzheimer’s Unit at Oakview Manor in Ozark for their wonderful care and support.
