DOTHAN…Mr. Byron L. Wallace, a resident of Dothan (formerly of the Pleasant Grove Community, near Ozark), died Tuesday afternoon, April 26, 2022, at his home. He was 51.


            Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, near Ozark with Reverend Mike Whitt officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Mr. Wallace was born September 24, 1970, in Ozark and was a 1988 Graduate of Carroll High School. He was formerly employed with GTE as a computer operator. Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maxwell and Dorothy Wallace and Curtis and Jewell Marshall; his mother, Patricia Wallace.


            Surviving relatives include his father, Alton Wallace; brother, Nathan Wallace; uncle, Ricky Wallace, all of Ozark; aunt, Sarah Burkett, Soddy Daisy, TN, Peggy Langford, Margaret Dykes, Linda Wallace, and Deborah Childree, all of Ozark; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
