ARITON…Mr. Byron L. Wynn, a resident of Ariton, died Saturday morning, July 8, 2023, at his home. He was 84.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Universalist Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Wynn, son of the late Jim Wynn, Jr. and Pauline Hatton Wynn, was a native of Ariton. He retired from Pea River Electric Cooperative after forty-three years of employment. Some of his favorite times were spent fishing, gardening, and woodworking. Mr. Wynn was a member of the Ariton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Sutton Wynn, a son, Ed Wynn, and brother, Billy Ray Fralish.
Surviving relatives include his son, Keith Wynn (Angie), Ariton; grandson, Jackson Wynn; niece, Deborah Allums; nephews, Vince Fralish (Kelly) and Kevin Fralish.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Timmy Sullivan, Scotty Barefoot, Todd Snell, Terry Goodson, Bill Johnston, and Heyward Carroll.
