 Charles (Chuck) R. Saker, Jr., a resident of Ashford, AL passed away on Thursday, December 12 at the age of 74.

Services will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Wayside Baptist Church in Ashford at 2 P.M.

Before he engaged in his courageous battle against small cell lung cancer, he proudly served in the US Air Force before becoming a multi-faceted and successful businessman, long-time golf professional who also enjoyed restoring classic cars, fishing and playing golf with Mieko in his free time.

He is survived by his big sister Gloria and her husband Jerry Godfrey of Odessa, TX and his little brother Larry and Darlene Saker of Wichita, KS. His family Mieko Howard and Jacob Howard of Ashford, AL will miss him greatly.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Area Food Bank.
