OZARK…Mr. Charles David Chapman, a resident of Ozark, died early Monday morning, April 29, 2024, in an Ozark nursing home. He was 86.
In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chapman, son of the late Otis C. Chapman and Elon Vivian Sirmons Chapman, was a native of Iron City, Georgia and has lived in the Wiregrass area for over thirty years. Following graduation from Fort Pierce High School, he joined the United States Air Force and served four years. Mr. Chapman was known as a “handyman” that could fix cars and lawnmowers and his favorite pastime was going to Flea Markets. He was preceded in death by his son, Dicky Chapman and two brothers, Victor Chapman and Danny Chapman.
Surviving relatives include his brother, Otis Arlen Chapman (Tinh), Dothan; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
