Mr. Charles J. Sensabaugh, of Dothan, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was 66.
Born March 2, 1950 in Virginia to Charles W. Sensabaugh and Mary Moulder, Charles loved his Lord and was a member of Harpers Joy Assembly of God Church. He was employed with Dobbs Bar-B-Que from 1966 until his retirement as manager in 2013. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and riding his golf cart. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to make people laugh and never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ann Greathouse Sensabaugh of Dothan; his father, Charles W. Sensabaugh (Hazel) of Virginia; his mother, Mary Moulder of Louisiana; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald and Queen Greathouse, Dothan; his daughter, Amy Sensabaugh, Dothan; his sons, Daryn Sensabaugh (Robin), Dothan and Chad Sensabaugh (Nikki), Dothan; his sister-in-law, Lauretta Greathouse, Dothan; his grandchildren, Kayla, Paige, Graceanne, Grady, and Tucker; other family relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, September 2, 2016 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eddie Littlefield and Reverend Thomas Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Harpers Joy Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM, Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the funeral home.
The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to Harpers Joy Assembly of God General Fund, 1509 Harper Joy Road, Dothan, Alabama 36301.
