Mr. Charles Rosamond Tabor of County Road 21, Geneva, Alabama passed away Friday, August 14, 2015. He was 89.
Memorialization will be by cremation with a private service for the family.
Mr. Tabor was born July 13, 1926, in Jefferson County, Alabama to the late James T. and Annie Eddie Kirby Tabor. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and Army Air Corp and later retired from Civil Service. He was a member of Fairway Park Baptist Church in Hayward, California where he served as a deacon and enjoyed being the handyman for the church. Mr. Charles was a very loving and devoted father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Helen C. Tabor, a son, John Wren Tabor and one granddaughter, Lori Rose Blondefield preceded him in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Blondefield and husband Gordon of Geneva; two sisters: Ann Shepherd of Mobile, AL and Betty Ruth Forstman of NC; three grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
