OZARK…. Mr. Curt Hagler, a resident of Ozark, died Saturday morning, February 27, 2021 at his home. He was 55.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hagler was born June 15, 1965 in Manchester, Connecticut and moved to Ozark in 1979. He was formerly employed with Phillips Van-Heusen in Ozark. Mr. Hagler was currently employed with M1 at Fort Rucker as a helicopter mechanic. He enjoyed going to car shows, going to the beach and was an avid University of Alabama Football Fan. Mr. Hagler had a generous heart and would help anyone he could. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Curtis Hagler, Sr.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Lisa Stafford Lane; his mother, Marilyn Hagler, both of Ozark; step-children, Kristy Woodham (Jerrod), Opelika and Marshall Lane, Ozark; two sisters, Alicia June Wood (Fred) and Carrie Anna Thomas (Kenneth), all of Ozark; granddaughter, Emersyn Watson; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Newman (Kevin), Andrew Wood, Anna Thomas, Cody Thomas, and Johnathan Thomas; great-niece, Jaycee Thomas; great-nephew, John Curtis Newman; mother-in-law, Janice Stafford; sisters-in-law, Donna Means (Willie), Ozark and Linda Fleming (Toby), Abbeville; brothers-in-law, Lynn Stafford and Tim Stafford (Tina).
Serving as active pallbearers will be Wayne Hunt, Joe Hoyle, Bobby Witherington, Robbie Warren, Jake Harrell, Cody Thomas, Johnathan Thomas, and Allen Hagler.
