Mr. Dairl Gilbert Stark, age 64, of Dothan, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Born July 4, 1957 in Mulvane, Kansas to the late Cecil Dairl Stark and Noretta Hicks Stark, Dairl served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed reading his Bible and attended Pentecostals of Dothan. He loved fishing and cooking, with ham being one of his specialties. He also enjoyed bowling, playing in leagues over the years, and shooting pool.

In addition to his parents, Dairl was preceded in death by his grandson, Daxton Stark.

He is survived by his daughter, Jess Danford; his sons, Daniel Stark (Ashley), Samuel Stark, Caleb Stark (Christina Looker-Stark), and Michael Simmons (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Isabella Danford, Daniella Stark, M. J. Simmons, and Jon Jon Simmons; his sisters, Joyce Skelton and Julie Caraway; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, February 28, 2022 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM, Monday, February 28, 2022 prior to the service.
