DANIEL JAYE HALLEY
Daniel (Danny) J. Halley, 69, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 following an extended illness. Plans for a Celebration of Life have not yet been scheduled. Please do not send flowers but in lieu of, you might make Donations to the mental illness awareness foundation of your choice.
Danny was born at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, Florida, on July 5, 1954. Danny lived in many places as his father was in the Airforce later serving his country in the U.S. Army. He was the son of the late Mr. William Jaye Halley and Mary Ellen (Pritchett) Halley. Danny was Baptised in Tampa. He was preceded in death by his brothers James (Jimbo) Thompson and Thomas (Tommy) Halley.
Danny graduated high-school in WPB and joined the Army following graduation. After his Army duty, Danny moved back to WPB and for a while enjoyed life and made many friends. He was talented artistically and enjoyed drawing and photography. Danny later became a chef in Coconut Grove and in Keywest, Florida. Danny was a hairdresser in WPB and Charleston, SC. He later attended the Halmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts with his dog Daisy by his side.
Danny is survived by his brother, Mark Samuel (Kim) Halley, Greenbrier, TN; sisters, Shawn Ellen (Halley) Doolittle Havana, FL; and Michelle Annette (Halley) Olsin, Louisville, TN; Catherine (Dennis) Konecny, Elkhart, IN; and many nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest next our mother at Memory Hill in Dothan Alabama.
