Mr. Danny E, Honegger, age 73 of Malvern, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at his home with family around him after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Patricia Honegger (Character), daughter Dana Whitten of Dothan, grandson Austin Whitten of Ashford currently serving in the Air Force, uncle Wally and Sally Rustad of Pell Lake, Wi., and best friends John Page and Shirley Peel.
Mr. Honegger is preceded in death by his father and mother Edward and Bev Honegger of Wi., brother Dennis Honegger and his grandparents.
Danny was born in Milwaukee, Wi. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He loved to cook, loved flowers, working in the garden, redoing things and loved classic vehicles. He worked at his mom and dads restaurant and also did paint and body work on vehicles.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, December 4, 2023 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Monday, one hour prior to the service.
