Dante “Scott” Beattie, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Southeast Health after a courageous battle with liver disease. He was 48.


Celebration of Life Services will be held at 3PM Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Smith officiating.


Mr. Beattie was born to Don and the late Ann McCluney Beattie. Dante was full of life, never meeting a stranger, always making people laugh and doing his best to bring a smile to someone’s  face.  He was a proud and avid member of the Kaotic Angels Motorcycle Club. He loved portraying Santa Clause at Christmas, especially for the children at various hospitals. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, dad, and brother.


He was preceded in death by his Mother, Ann Beattie.


Survivors include his wife, Misty Beattie; his father, Don Beattie; three daughters, Haley Beattie (Whitley), Carolanne Beattie and Tori Money; one sister Tanya Thorne (Matthew); one nephew, Britton Beattie; one niece, Starr Thorne; chosen brother, David Yates (Jessica) and his brothers and sisters in law enforcement and emergency services.
