OWENS CROSSROADS, ALABAMA…Mr. David Aaron Branton, resided with his parents Bob and Debbie Cagle Warner in Owens Crossroads, Alabama, passed away late Tuesday evening, July 4, 2023, in Midland City, Alabama. He was 36.


            Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:00 A.M. 1Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Mayfair Church of Christ in Huntsville, Alabama presided over by his dear friend and preacher Jason Bybee. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of local arrangements.


            David was born August 7, 1986, in Dothan, Alabama and was a 2004 Graduate of Northside Methodist Academy. He enlisted in the United States Navy for two years, serving as a Corpman before attending the United States Naval Academy for four years. David also attended William and Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia. He enjoyed his time spent with his family and fur baby sister, Bella, cooking and canning food. David was an avid Auburn University Football fan and also the Tennessee Titans. He enjoyed “antiquing” along with his many other hobbies. He was an avid reader, averaging two hundred to two hundred fifty books per year. David was an active member of the Mayfair Church of Christ in Huntsville. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Cagle and uncle, Tony Virag.


            Surviving relatives include his mother, Deborah Jean Wagner (Robert), Owens Crossroads, Alabama; grandmother, Jean Cagle Clemmons, Ozark; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives residing in Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Virginia and California.
