David Bradford Wells, 74, of Cottonwood, Alabama, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Madrid City Cemetery with Brother Jayson Kirk officiating. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Born in Houston County, Alabama, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Ferrell Pennington Wells. He retired from the Alabama U.S. Army National Guard and PEMCO. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years Beverly Wells, a brother Lynn Wells, and a stepson, Robert Amos.

Surviving are stepsons, Thomas, Billy, John, and Mike Amos; step daughters, Diana McCord and Nichole Payne; sons, Keith and Kyle Wells; three sisters, Joyce Traylor, Juanita Motley, and Mary Davis; a brother, Bruce Wells; twenty eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
